There are over 480 laws in the US dealing with personnel matters.   It is suffice to say that you cannot make any HR decision without one or more laws applying to it.   Attached is a Word file that contains 10 mini cases dealing with race, sex, national origin, religious, age, and disability discrimination.   They are all based on Supreme Court decisions which provide guidance for HR policies.   For each case, tell how you would decide and most importantly, WHY?   Since 1991 these cases may go to jury trials so you may be on such a panel someday
