There are various types of decision-making styles. Individuals who are directive have low tolerance for ambiguity, are extremely task oriented, and announce decisions they make. Individuals who are analytical have a high tolerance for ambiguity and tend to overanalyze situations. Conceptual decision makers work well with others and considers the opinions of others when making decisions. Behavioral decision makers are interested in having open and tend to avoid conflict. I consider myself an analytical decision maker because I will gather as much information as possible before making a decision (Stojkovic, Kalinich, & Klofas, 2015).

In order to prepare for an interview I would seek background information on the organization. I would wear conservative business attire, such as a neutral-colored suit and professional shoes. I would practice my responses to interview questions. I would bring extra copies of your resume, a notepad and pen, a list of references, and any information I might need to complete an application.

Provide a rationale to support your response.

All 3 crimes have slight similarities, yet all 3 are different from each other.  Larceny is stealing someone’s personal property unlawfully with no intent to return the property.  Robbery  entails taking someone’s valuables or property by force or threat resulting in physical harm. A burglary is breaking into a building with intentions on committing a crime, nothing has to be taken.

An example of larceny would be if someone was to take some office supplies from their job with no intent to return the supplies.

An example of robbery would be if someone came up behind someone demanding their wallet while holding an object to their back.

An example of burglary would be if someone were to break into my home and steal my stereo system.

The crime that I chose is burglary.  One of the challenges that would be evident in investigating this crime would be to identify the culprit, escpecially if there is no evidence and the burglar was very careful in committing the crime.  The 2nd challenge would be to prove that the person suspected of the crime is indeed the correct person and prove that they actually took the goods.  They should be able to accurately identify the point of entry and the method used.
