1. How do “individual rights” protected under the US Constituion conflict with “public safety” — does this happen?? If so, who prevails?? Why?? Provide examples.

2. Do you believe the concept of “reward ” or “punishment” is the proper way to treat criminals in the US justice system — or both?? Why?? Provide examples.

3. Provide 3 examples in which the “concept of ethics” plays a role in the criminal justice system — judicial system (judges, prosecutor); law enforcement (police officer, parole officer) ect. — provide examples.  Does it play any role??
