Use the Internet and conduct a search for a national criminal justice organization or association. Go to the Web site and review the information about the organization. In essay format, describe what the organization provides in terms of career-related job opportunities in the criminal justice field.
- Include the organization’s mission statement.
- List the job opportunities as they relate to criminal justice.
- Discuss the services provided
- Conference or training that may be provided.
- Names of the publications the organization publishes for the members
- Types of research conducted and that has been published
- Membership requirements, that is, students who are enrolled in a criminal justice degree program are allowed to join; persons currently employed in the criminal justice field; membership fees; how long of a membership (i.e., 1 year membership, 2 year, etc.)
- Describe how the organization would aid in your career quest for your specific field of interest based upon the membership services provided. Please cite and reference all sources using APA guidelines.
