Answer the following:

• What is the procedure for making a motion?
• Describe the method for obtaining orders after a hearing on the motion.
• Describe filing requirements under the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
• Name a pre-trial, trial, and post-trial motion and describe each one.
• Check your state’s laws to find out what forms must be filed to make a motion? Be sure to identify the state you are in and the source of the rules.
