As technology advances, there are more and more ethical and moral issues revolving around the use of scientific evidence.    The book cites an example on page 155 of a suspect being identified through DNA left by a family member at a doctor’s appointment.  Do you think that obtaining evidence in that manner is ethical?  Does it matter whether it is for a serious crime or not?  Respond to two fellow students posts.

Many police departments are going to a process that allows citizens to make some crime reports online.  What do you think the advantages and disadvantages are of allowing this.
