2. Does a mandatory arrest policy/statute undermine the possibility of exercising an ethic of care? 

3. What is the ethic of care in discussed in chapter 10 and does your state’s statute help or hinder an officer’s ability to exercise that care? Why or why not?

1. If you were a Chief or Sheriff, what policies would you have to ensure that the domestic violence statutes were enforced while still allowing your officers to exercise an appropriate ethic of care.
