Eventually, Dominique decided to get married on October 10, 2001. She tells the lawyer you work for to represent her in the immigration office. She provides your law office with copies of her birth certificate and certificates related to her education. However, the documents are in Spanish.

Your lawyer asks you to search the Web site www.uscis.gov to locate the forms along with their numbers and the fees that are required for adjustment of nonimmigrant status. You also need to find any additional documents that are required to process Dominique’s case. In addition, you need to determine whether the documents that Dominique provided can be submitted to the immigration officer. If they need to be translated, you need to locate and provide contact information for someone who can translate them. In addition, download the required forms, and complete them on the basis of the information provided by Dominique.
