If-Else Statement And Loop

4 parts of the assignment:

Part 1: Check out the lecture notes and read chapter 6 of the text book before attempting these problems (see attachment)

1) Write a program that prompts the user for a number, tests to see whether that number is even or odd and prints out “Number is Even” if it is even, or “Number is Odd” if it is odd.

Hint: An even number is one that is dividable by 2 and has no remainder! Look up the % operator.

Part 2: 2) Write a program that stores your name in a variable. Then ask the user to guess your name. If he\she guesses right, display the message “Well done, good guess work!”, otherwise display the message “Try again next time!” and just exit the program at that point (we’ll see how to loop, i.e. keep on asking the user for names till he\she gets the right one, next week!).

Part 3: Modify the question above so that you keep on asking the user for names till he\she gets it right! So he\she has to guess your name right BEFORE you exit the program. Use a while loop.

Part 4:Write a program that asks the user for 5 numbers, using a for loop and one input function call inside that for loop. Sum the numbers as you are getting them from the user, then display the sum and average to the user at the end.

The act is generally known as the Wagner Act, after Senator Robert R. Wagner of New York. Use the case you identified in the discussion preparation on unfair labor practices in a health care organization. Summarize the case law findings.

                                                  CLASSMATE’S POST

Sequencing curriculum for effective instruction is one of the key parts of maximizing efficiency in communicating information and achieving good learning outcomes. The order of learning experiences makes a difference in how students initially and subsequently learn throughout a curriculum. The experience can change greatly if the order of topics or the unfolding of concepts is disjointed and not in the best order. Instead of students moving from one understanding that supports further understanding that is deeper, they can be left trying to put together puzzle pieces presented at inconvenient times. If, for instance, we go straight to teaching about how a microprocessor works but have not yet covered the basics of DC power and logic gates prior to entering the more complex subject, then the instruction is less effective. Additionally, the text says that choosing a sequencing pattern that is a “best fit” is possible by considering the “developmental level and age of the students, the structure of the content area being taught, and ultimately the teachers’ own beliefs about what constitutes a best fit.” There is a list of sequencing patterns given in the text that accounts for the different learning needs of students of various disciplines. Upon selecting the sequencing pattern, Chiarelott says one should be able to explain the selection of the pattern and how it will be put into operation. This is the last step in design before evaluation.
